Swiss financial institution Dukascopy Bank has announced the launch of AI-powered trading capabilities, allowing clients to interact with their trading accounts through artificial intelligence assistants. The move positions the bank among the first Swiss banking institutions to offer direct AI-driven account interaction for retail and professional traders.
The new functionality is by Dukascopy’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, which enables AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude to connect directly with clients’ JForex trading accounts. Through natural language conversations, users can execute trades, manage positions, analyze market conditions, and monitor account risk without relying on traditional trading terminals or manual programming.

According to the bank, the integration simplifies the trading experience by replacing complex interfaces and navigation processes with conversational commands. Traders can communicate with their preferred AI assistant to perform a range of activities, including placing market and pending orders, analyzing financial instruments, calculating stop-loss and take-profit levels, and reviewing account exposure.
“Technology has always been at the core of Dukascopy’s DNA,” said Andre Duka, CEO of Dukascopy Bank. “For two decades, we have invested in building advanced trading infrastructure. Today, we are taking the next step by making that infrastructure accessible through AI.”
Also, the bank stated that the system extends beyond analytical support, enabling direct execution of trading actions. For example, traders can instruct an AI assistant to close part of an existing position or adjust exposure, with the request carried out through the connected trading account.
Dukascopy noted that connected AI assistants receive secure access to account information and trading operations, supporting workflows that combine market analysis, position management, and order execution. The service is based on MCP, an emerging open standard designed to allow AI applications to interact securely with external platforms and services.
Moreover, the integration is available immediately for JForex demo accounts, allowing traders to test the technology using virtual funds. Dukascopy plans to extend support to live trading accounts during the summer and autumn of 2026, bringing AI-assisted workflows to real-market trading environments.
