Robinhood Sets August 3 Roadshow for Ventures Fund II Ahead

Robinhood Markets has announced that the roadshow for Robinhood Ventures Fund II (RVII) will officially begin on August 3, 2026, marking the next step in the company’s effort to expand retail investor access to private market opportunities.

The virtual roadshow is going to start at 9:00 a.m. PT / 12:00 p.m. ET and will feature presentations from Robinhood Markets CEO Vlad Tenev, Chief Financial Officer Shiv Verma, Head of Robinhood Ventures and RVII President Sarah Pinto, and RVII Portfolio Manager Rich Aberman.

The launch follows Robinhood Ventures Fund II’s public filing of an initial registration statement on Form N-2 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on June 30, 2026. The filing begins the regulatory process for a proposed public offering of the fund’s shares. Managed by Robinhood Ventures DE, LLC, RVII is a business development company (BDC), a type of closed-end investment fund regulated under the Investment Company Act of 1940.

Moreover, according to the filing, RVII intends to build a diversified portfolio of early- and growth-stage private companies, with a particular focus on startups that are current or former participants in the Y Combinator accelerator program, or companies founded by entrepreneurs with Y Combinator backgrounds. The strategy is going to target businesses that Robinhood believes have significant long-term growth potential across multiple sectors.

Robinhood noted that the registration statement remains subject to SEC review, and no shares may be sold until it is declared effective. Once approved, the fund’s shares are going to trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol RVII.

In a departure from traditional IPO roadshows, Robinhood said the presentation will be open to the public rather than limited to institutional investors. The event will provide a deeper look at the fund’s investment strategy, portfolio approach, and long-term objectives, giving retail investors greater visibility into a product that aims to bridge the gap between public and private markets.

Also, Robinhood Ventures was first introduced in September 2025 with the goal of expanding access to private companies, reflecting the firm’s broader mission of making investment opportunities traditionally reserved for institutions and wealthy investors more widely available.
