Marex Group Ltd has announced a new multi-year Principal Partnership with Nottingham Forest Football Club, expanding the financial services firm’s global brand presence through one of the world’s most followed sports.
The agreement marks a significant step in Marex’s development from its commodities-market heritage into a diversified global financial services provider offering market access, infrastructure services and liquidity across international markets. Through its partnership with Forest, Marex aims to increase awareness of its broader capabilities among a global audience.
Nottingham Forest, one of English football’s oldest clubs, is also one of only four English teams to have won two or more European Cups. The club recently appointed Oliver Glasner as head coach, adding a manager with European trophy-winning experience to its sporting leadership.

Under the partnership, Marex branding will appear on Nottingham Forest’s men’s and women’s playing and replica shirts, as well as the dresses of the club’s netball team. The brand will also have a prominent presence at the City Ground during matchdays and across Forest’s digital platforms throughout the 2026/27 season and beyond.
Marex will serve as Nottingham Forest’s Global Markets Partner and exclusive provider of foreign exchange and other financial services. The partnership also places a particular emphasis on supporting women in financial services.
Marex said it intends to work with Nottingham Forest to raise awareness of career opportunities for women across the financial sector while developing initiatives designed to improve financial literacy within the wider community.
