Sucden Financial has shared its audited financial profits for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2023. The company has reported a notable increase in both profit and total net assets, despite a slight decline in net revenue.
According to the financial statement released by Sucden Financial, the profit before taxation surged to £23.9 million for the year 2023, marking a significant rise from £18.4 million recorded in the previous year of 2022. Total net assets also showed a healthy uptick, reaching £168.5 million by the end of 2023, compared to £160.7 million reported in 2022. This growth in net assets further solidifies Sucden Financial’s financial position and stability in the market.

However, despite the overall positive financial outcome, the company experienced a decline in net revenue, which amounted to £69.7 million in 2023, down from £79.8 million in the preceding year. This decline in revenue could be attributed to various market factors and operational dynamics during the year.
Marc Bailey, the Chief Executive Officer of Sucden Financial, expressed confidence in the company’s performance and strategic direction, commenting, “Sucden Financial achieved another strong performance in 2023, with profits up by more than 30% and delivered significant returns for shareholders following the completion of a number of strategic initiatives in the year.” He further emphasized the company’s readiness to capitalize on new opportunities and navigate evolving market conditions in the upcoming year.
Bailey added, “I am excited by Sucden Financial’s prospects and our team’s ability to continue delivering on our prudent long-term growth strategy.”
