Genesis Global has announced a series of leadership promotions aimed at supporting growing client demand for faster and more efficient delivery of mission-critical software across the capital markets industry.

The executive promotions come as the company prepares for its next phase of growth and seeks to strengthen its ability to help financial institutions build, modernize, and operate software in an environment increasingly influenced by AI-enabled development.

Among the appointments, David Perkins is now Executive Vice President, Sales & Strategic Growth and will serve as Head of Sales. A well-known capital markets technology executive, Perkins will lead Genesis’ global sales organization while overseeing strategic growth initiatives. Since joining the company, he has played a central role in expanding its market presence and strengthening relationships across the financial services sector.

Genesis Global Announces Leadership Promotions 

Shahin Askari is now Chief Technology Officer, where he will be responsible for the firm’s technology strategy, platform vision, and architecture. Askari, who joined Genesis in 2023, previously served as Chief Platform and Architecture Officer and will continue to serve on the Genesis Executive Committee.

Michael Henson is now Chief Delivery Officer and joins the Executive Committee. In his new position, he will oversee delivery excellence, client outcomes, DevOps, and support functions across the organization. Henson previously held the role of Vice President of Forward Deployed Engineering.

The company has also promoted Jay Taylerson to Executive Vice President, Engineering Excellence. He will be responsible for engineering standards, architecture, and AI enablement across the Genesis engineering organization.

Meanwhile, Raminder Ahuja has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, India. He will oversee client delivery and engineering operations at the company’s Bengaluru engineering center.

Genesis said the appointments reinforce its commitment to delivering software solutions more effectively for financial institutions while adapting to evolving industry demands. By strengthening leadership across sales, technology, engineering, and operations, the company aims to enhance execution capabilities and support clients as they accelerate modernization initiatives and embrace AI-driven software development practices.
