Interactive Brokers has shared version 0.07 of its IBKR Desktop platform, packed with a myriad of enhancements.

One notable addition to IBKR Desktop is the MultiSort Screeners feature. This functionality empowers users to sift through and organize data using multiple factors simultaneously. This is particularly valuable for traders and investors who need to assess diverse information such as fundamental data, past performance, and technical indicators. With MultiSort, users can choose up to 10 sort factors and utilize up/down arrows to specify whether a lower or higher value is more desirable. The ability to assign importance levels, ranging from “Somewhat Important” to “Very Important,” adds an extra layer of customization. The screener updates in real-time, providing users with the most relevant results based on their preferences.

To create a MultiSort Screener, users can simply navigate to the Screeners icon in the left navigation panel, choose MultiSort from the Screener Type panel, and select up to 10 factors from the Filters box. The Importance level of each factor can be easily modified for a personalized screening experience.

Another noteworthy addition to IBKR Desktop is the Option Lattice, a graphical options chain display that highlights potential outliers in key metrics such as Implied Volatility, Open Interest, Volume, or Last Price. This feature enables users to compare option contract metrics across different expiry dates easily. To access the Option Lattice, users can click on the Quote icon in the left navigation panel, select Option Chain from the tab set, click the View icon, and choose Lattice View. The display attributes are customizable, allowing users to tailor the view to their specific needs, including turning on the Strategy Builder to create calendars and other spreads.

Additionally, the Option Analysis feature provides users with a visual and editable in-depth analysis of a single underlying across key metrics, including Option Volume, Historical Volatility, Implied Volatility, Open Interest, and Skew. Traders and investors can access Option Analysis by clicking on the Quote icon, selecting Option Analysis from the tabset, and customizing the metrics display according to their preferences.
