John Cincotta Joins ANZ Boards – The New Non-Executive Director!

Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ) announced today that Mr. John Cincotta is going to join the boards of ANZ and ANZ BH PTY LTD as a Non-Executive Director, effective 15th February 2024.

John Cincotta, a co-founder of Barrenjoey Capital Partners in 2019, has been a non-executive Director at the firm since 2022. However, he will step down from this role on 31st January 2024 to take on his new responsibilities at ANZ.

Prior to his tenure at Barrenjoey Capital Partners, Mr. Cincotta enjoyed a distinguished career at Deutsche Bank Australia and New Zealand, spanning from 1993 to 2019. During his time there, he held senior roles, including Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Risk Officer.

ANZ’s Chairman, Mr. O’Sullivan, expressed confidence in the appointment, stating, “John’s deep banking experience with a focus on strategy, risk, and transformation will greatly benefit the Banking boards as the Bank continues to grow and evolve.”
