Fresh off its inclusion in the S&P 500 and a new all-time high in its share price, US neobroker Robinhood Markets is stepping further into the active trading arena with the launch of Robinhood Social, its first social trading feature.

Robinhood Social is a community within the Robinhood app where verified users can post live trades, follow other traders, discuss strategies, and explore market opportunities in real time. Users can track other members’ past trades, daily and one-year P&L, and profit rates, with all profiles verified through KYC. Robinhood Social also enables users to follow trades from insiders, hedge funds, and politicians, providing a transparent way to see market activity beyond the platform. The service will launch by invitation only in the US early next year, with broader availability to follow, at no extra cost.

Robinhood Introduces Social Trading with Verified Live Trades

“Robinhood is no longer just where you trade – it’s your financial superapp,” said CEO Vlad Tenev. “We’re bringing transparency and community to trading, making it easier for users to navigate markets with confidence.”

Alongside social trading, Robinhood is expanding its browser-based platform, Robinhood Legend. Launched last year, Legend now includes AI-powered custom indicators and scans via Robinhood Cortex, futures on over 40 CME Group products, new equities and crypto trading ladders, short selling, overnight index options, and support for multiple individual brokerage accounts. The platform also offers enhanced options charts, drawing tools, and real-time L2 futures data, with commissions as low as $0.50 for Robinhood Gold members.

Robinhood Legend’s new ladder widget allows one-click trades across futures, stocks, ETFs, and crypto, while device linking will let users manage ladders remotely. Futures and custom indicators will roll out to all Gold customers early next year, reflecting Robinhood’s push to cater to increasingly sophisticated traders.

By combining social trading with advanced tools, Robinhood aims to redefine active trading for its users, blending transparency, speed, and community in a single integrated experience.
