Standard Chartered has introduced a new multi-sector credit fund, Signature Select Global Income Plus, under its variable capital company (VCC) structure, in collaboration with PIMCO as sub-investment manager. The fund aims to offer high-net-worth clients diversified income solutions while managing volatility and downside risk.

Designed to capture the best investment ideas from PIMCO across the credit spectrum, the fund includes high-yield bonds, emerging market debt, and bank loans. By leveraging PIMCO’s expertise, the fund seeks to provide total returns that are both attractive and resilient, catering to clients who prioritize stable income streams. It also features a monthly distribution mechanism, making it especially suitable for income-focused investors.

Standard Chartered Multi-Sector Credit Fund with PIMCO

Currently, Signature Select Global Income Plus is available to high-net-worth clients in Standard Chartered’s Private, Priority Private, and Priority segments. Eligible investors must have Accredited Investor and/or Professional Investor status and be based in Singapore, Hong Kong, the UAE, or Bahrain. The bank plans to gradually expand the fund’s availability to other markets in the coming months.
