UBS has announced an exclusive collaboration with 360 ONE WAM Ltd, one of India’s largest independent wealth and asset management firms. This partnership merges UBS’s global and regional wealth management expertise with 360 ONE’s extensive local knowledge and reach, significantly advancing UBS’s Indian wealth management business.

Under the terms of the collaboration, subject to regulatory approval, clients of both institutions will gain access to a broader range of onshore and offshore wealth management solutions. The partnership also seeks to explore collaborative opportunities in asset management products and investment banking services.

UBS Forms Strategic Collaboration with 360 ONE WAM Ltd

As part of the agreement, UBS will transfer its onshore wealth management business in India to 360 ONE. Meanwhile, 360 ONE clients based in Singapore will be with UBS Singapore, pending necessary approvals.

Additionally, UBS will acquire warrants for a 4.95% stake in 360 ONE. A joint leadership committee will be established to explore further growth opportunities, marking a first step in what is expected to be a highly synergistic collaboration that will elevate UBS’s position in the global Indian wealth management market.

Jin Yee Young, Co-Head of Global Wealth Management Asia Pacific at UBS, expressed optimism about the partnership: “This strategic collaboration with 360 ONE will help accelerate our momentum in one of the world’s fastest-growing markets, enabling us to better serve our global Indian clients wherever they are.”

360 ONE’s leadership echoed the sentiment, with Akhil Gupta, Chairman of 360 ONE WAM, stating that the partnership strengthens their market leadership in India and provides a sophisticated, personalized wealth management experience for clients worldwide.
